California Gold Ribbon School

A program for which honors some of California’s outstanding public schools. Schools that are selected demonstrate exemplary achievements in implementing state standards in priority areas.

Title I Academic Achievement

Honors Title I schools that have demonstrated success in significantly closing the achievement gap between high and low-performing students.

CABE Seal of Excellence

One of California Association for Bilingual Education’s (CABE) highest honors and recognizes schools for their vision of bi-literacy, their commitment towards educational excellence for all students and their focus on providing students with the skills they need to be successful.

California PBIS Community Cares Acknowledgement

Honoring the positive impacts schools are playing in the lives of California’s students, families, and communities.

California PBIS Coalition PBIS Implementation

Recognition system (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum) to acknowledge schools for implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) with fidelity to the national framework.

Support Music Merit Award

A SMMA Award is an opportunity for an individual school to be acknowledged for its commitment to music education.

Project Lead the Way

PLTW’s recognition program is designed to honor districts and schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs. The schools and districts recognized are empowering students to thrive in an evolving world and have achieved exemplary results from their PLTW programs.

School Attendance Review Board

Identifies outstanding results-based school attendance improvement programs that provide comprehensive services to high-risk youth with school attendance or school behavior problems.
