Anaheim Elementary School District

Roosevelt Elementary School

A Word From Our Principal

Hello Roosevelt Community,

It is with great pride and excitement that I join this incredible school community as your new Principal. I have been a Principal for 12 years and worked in the Anaheim Elementary School District for 29 years. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve Roosevelt students, support our dedicated staff, and partner with our families. Education is not only about academic achievement—it is about fostering curiosity, character, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to building strong relationships, celebrating our successes, and working together to ensure every student feels safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

School & District Parent & Family Engagement Policies 2025-2026

Research indicates that Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) help children achieve high academic standards. When schools work together with parents in school activities, and both schools and families engage in shared decision making regarding children’s education, students are more likely to acquire literacy at faster rates.

The links below contain the AESD and Parent & Family Engagement Policies. The policies are jointly developed with parents to establish objectives for meaningful parent and family involvement. (20 U.S.C. sections 6312, 6318[a][2])
