This week, President Trump ordered the elimination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA program) which was established in 2012 to provide a pathway for young undocumented immigrants to attend school, graduate, go to college, begin successful careers and make meaningful contributions to society.

Anaheim Union High School District Food Services will be offering lunch through the Seamless Summer Option program at the following AESD schools from June 19 – August 4:
- Franklin Elementary – 11:30am – 12:00pm
- Lincoln Elementary – 11:30am – 12:30pm
- Loara Elementary – 11:30am – 12:00pm
- Revere Elementary – 11:30am – 12:00pm
- Stoddard Elementary – 11:30am – 12:00pm
- Sunkist Elementary – 11:30am – 12:00pm
All persons in the community who are 18 years of age and under and those persons over age 18 who meet the CDE’s definition of having a mental or physical disability may participate.
Anaheim Elementary School District’s Third Annual International Arts Festival will be held Friday, May 19th from 4pm-7pm at Lincoln School located at 1413 E. Broadway in Anaheim. The festival will include free arts, crafts and entertainment with over 30 student music and dance performance groups from around our district. Local food will also be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the AESD Education Foundation in support of the arts. We hope to see you there!
