Anaheim, Calif. — The Anaheim Elementary School District (AESD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Diep to its Board of Education. A passionate advocate for mental health and autism support, Ms. Diep was officially sworn in during the Board meeting on December 18, 2024.
Julie Diep brings a wealth of experience in serving diverse communities. As the founder and president of OC Autism Foundation, she has dedicated her career to providing essential therapeutic services, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families. Previously, Ms. Diep served as the Executive Director of New Hope Therapy Center and was the host of an English-Vietnamese program on Little Saigon Television, further demonstrating her commitment to building relationships across communities.
Pursuant to Education Code Section 47605(b), the Anaheim Elementary School District hereby publishes “all staff recommendations, including the recommended findings” regarding the request for approval of the material revisions of the Vibrant Minds Charter School Charter Petition.
It is recommended the Board of Education declare a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments from the public regarding whether pupils in the school will have during the 2024-25 school year sufficient textbooks and/or instructional materials consistent with the content and cycles of the curriculum frameworks adopted by the California Department of Education […]
