Patrick Henry Elementary School

Welcome to Patrick Henry Elementary School! Our mission is to create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments that celebrate individual strengths and foster collective growth. We’re committed to providing rigorous and engaging educational experiences for all students.
Our curriculum integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and math with Common Core standards. We deliver targeted instruction in foundational reading skills, including phonics and fluency, and in math skills aligned with California State Standards from Transitional Kindergarten to 6th grade. This empowers students to excel in reading and math at every level.
We offer enriching programs that develop responsible citizens, problem solvers, and culturally aware individuals. Every student receives a Chromebook, and music is an integral part of our curriculum, with opportunities to learn instruments in 5th and 6th grades. Our top-tier intervention program ensures personalized learning, and extended learning opportunities are available through Panther Hub.
We proudly host a Dual Language Academy, where students from Kindergarten through 6th grade learn bilingual literacy in Spanish and English.
Family involvement is key to our success. Our PTA and Parent Leadership Institute provide numerous opportunities for families to connect and contribute. Mrs. Box and I are here to support you and your family's engagement with our school community.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we’ll ensure our students learn and achieve at high levels every day.

School & District Parent & Family Engagement Policies 2025-2026
Research indicates that Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) help children achieve high academic standards. When schools work together with parents in school activities, and both schools and families engage in shared decision making regarding children’s education, students are more likely to acquire literacy at faster rates.
The links below contain the AESD and Parent & Family Engagement Policies. The policies are jointly developed with parents to establish objectives for meaningful parent and family involvement. (20 U.S.C. sections 6312, 6318[a][2])
