Welcome to Guinn Elementary School

A Word From Our Principal

Principal - Aleta Peters
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at James Guinn Elementary School. The Guinn staff and I hope you’ve all had an enjoyable vacation and are as excited about starting the new school year as we are. We want to welcome all of our new “Eagle Scholars” and families. We extend a special welcome to our newest scholars, our Transitional Kindergarteners — the GRADUATING CLASS OF 2033! Parents, we look forward to working together with you to help your student learn and develop. Our mission is to provide a quality education through shared responsibility in a safe supportive environment for all students to meet the challenges of a global society. We are “Committed to Excellence,” and we work hard to make this site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative, independent thinker and problem solver.
