Why Anaheim Elementary Online Academy
Qualified Teachers
All teachers are certified by the California Department of Education and receive training on best practices to support students’ diverse learning styles. Our student support team and teachers work collectively to identify how to ensure all students benefit from receiving high quality instruction based on state standards while also addressing their social emotional learning needs.
Flexibility
Our program permits students to complete asynchronous learning at their own pace. This option creates an opportunity for students to ask teachers about their assignments when they experience difficulty. Students can contact their teachers during office hours to have discussions about lessons, asynchronous work, or strategies to help them overcome barriers.
Research Based Curriculum
Anaheim Elementary Online Academy provides research based curriculum in grades K – 6th. This specification means all students benefit from content rich learning with various activities that promote a deeper understanding of concepts. As students learn content, instruction is sequential, and each lesson builds upon prior learning and experiences.
