Mrs. Erin Lee

5th Grade GATE Teacher

Mrs. Erin Lee goes above and beyond for students, families, and staff here at our Online Academy. She fills every minute of her day with daily synchronous instruction, 1:1 conferences, small group instruction and after school enrichment to ensure rigor, accessibility, and support. Her belief in all students and high expectations produces one of the highest participation and engagement rates in our online Independent Study program. Mrs. Lee also reflects on ways to promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity in her classroom to ensure all students feel a sense of belonging. We are truly grateful and blessed to have Mrs. Erin Lee as our 5th grade teacher.

Ms. Emma Avalos

Family & CommunityEngagement Specialist

Ms. Emma Avalos exemplifies commitment and dedication to our school, family, and community here at AEOA. She assists our families using her knowledge of outside agencies and resources. Her attention to detail and organizational skills allows her to plan multiple parent workshops and education classes to support our community. As a newly formed school, she was instrumental in establishing our inaugural PTA. Ms. Avalos is such a valued member of the AEOA staff. Anyone who meets with her walks away in awe of all she does to assure our AEOA community receives a top-quality online experience. We are so thankful to have Ms. Avalos at AEOA.
