Dress Code

The Ponderosa Look is designed as an important way for our scholars to show Pride, Respect, Excellence and Safety. Uniforms help minimize distractions and minimize student conflicts and help maximize a focus on learning. When scholars come to school prepared and dressed for success, learning is their focus!

Heads

  • MASK Must be worn indoors at all times to support the safety of all
  • Head Covering (hats / hoods) ONLY in adverse weather (heat/rain)

Tops

  • Ponderosa T-shirt
  • Polo (with collar) Red, White, or Blue shirts
  • White dress shirt or blouse with collar
  • Any College Shirt to support Awareness of our College Bound Culture

Bottoms

  • Navy blue or khaki shorts, pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers
  • Plain blue jeans (No holes)

Footwear

  • Closed-toed shoes with a substantial-sole
  • Tennis Shoes (To support Physical Education)

Pride Expectations

  • Clothing should fit comfortably, not excessively loose or tight (Pants should fit well around the waist)
  • For safety purposes, piercings must be limited to ears & earrings must be smaller than ear lobe (no hoops)
  • No holes, cuts, or alterations to clothing.

Clothing for uniforms can be purchased at any store, including Target, Wal-Mart, or Kohl’s

Ponderosa gear is available for purchase in the office.
