A Word From Our Principal

Welcome to Edison Elementary!  

Happy 2024-2025 School Year! We are so glad to have each and every one of you as part of our Edison Family.  Our staff has been working hard to prepare an engaging, well-rounded standards based instructional program to meet the needs of all students. Edison Elementary is a fantastic school community where children learn and grow, supported by caring adults. Because children come to us with a variety of needs, challenges, and talents all their own, we first try to get to know each child and each parent to create a positive nurturing relationship. These trusting relationships make learning much more interesting, engaging, and fun. We strongly believe school should always be a safe place that children enjoy coming to each and every day and are supported, whatever that may be, to meet their needs and we encourage our families and community members to be part of the team. 

Please remember to be kind, patient, and understanding during this time of major construction of our new library/research  building on our campus.
