Second Step provides a holistic approach to building supportive communities for every child through social-emotional learning. All students are provided with classroom based social emotional lessons (SEL) that teach critical skills which support learning and lifelong success. SEL skills include, but are not limited to, improving cooperation, having empathy for others, effective communication, and decision making.
