A Word From Our Principal

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Patrick Henry Elementary.   At Henry, we believe in a progressive, relevant, well-rounded education. At our school every child has music instruction, next generation science instruction, computer coding and educational technology integrated with the common core standards for a leading edge learning experience. It is a great privilege to work with your kids everyday and believe that each student has a gift to share with the world. Our mission is to prepare our students for a life beyond their highest expectations.

The wealth of programs available at Henry, aim to develop citizens, problem solvers, risk takes and culturally diverse members of our community.  Henry Elementary has the privilege to provide each student with one personal chromebook.  Each student receives music instruction and students in 5th and 6th grade recieve instrumental music.   Henry offers a Dual Language Academy from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.  Students in the Dual Language Academy teaches students to speak, read, and write in the Spanish language while maintaining a rigorous academic program in English.

At Henry, we have developed an inspiring partnership between classrooms, schools, homes, and communities that inspires us to foster a climate that is caring, welcoming, trusting, and collaborating. Our continued partnership with our community has many opportunities for parents and community members to be involved in our school. Our PTA has many opportunities for parents to volunteer their time to school wide events.  In addition, our Parent Leadership Institute (PLI) continues it’s stellar work on developing classes and workshops for our community members, in the aim to build capacity among our families.  Henry’s Family and Community Engagement Specialist is waiting to serve you and provide you resources to support your family.

Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education.
