Health Services
School Readiness Nurses provide services for children, ages 0-5, and their families. Their focus is to provide early identification and treatment of health and developmental problems. They provide the following services:
- Developmental screen
- Hearing screen
- Vision screen
- Dental screen
- Health and immunization screen
- Health insurance enrollment
Along with these services, parents receive education, resources, referrals and support regarding their child’s developmental concerns. SRNs are sponsored by a grant from the Children and Families Commission of Orange County.
