Local Educational Agency Plan (LEAP) and Title III Plan

The approval of a Local Educational Agency Plan by the local school board and State Board of Education is a requirement for receiving federal funding for programs under No Child Left Behind (NCLB). The LEA Plan includes specific descriptions and assurances as outlined in the provisions included in NCLB. The plan describes the actions Anaheim City School District will take to ensure that it meets programmatic requirements, including student academic services designed to increase student achievement and performance, coordination of services, needs assessments, consultations, school choice, supplemental services, services to homeless students, and others as required.

The district’s 5-year plan (July 2009 – June 2014) may be viewed at the link below. Questions or comments about the plan may be directed to Mary Grace, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services (714) 517-7517 or mgrace@anehim.
