Expanded Learning Opportunities
After-school and summer enrichment for TK through 6th grade, with the goal of increasing social-emotional support and lowering pandemic-related stress.
AESD schools have expanded their hours 30 minutes to an hour before school and about 90 minutes after school. During this time, students have access to tutoring, homework help, counselors, music programs, sports and other activities, along with multicultural enrichment, including monthly school-wide assemblies.
This district’s summer academic program will also be extended an additional 30 days.
Superintendent Downing spoke about the initiative to CBS2 News and Fox 11 Los Angeles.

Enrolling an AESD Student
Learning never stops, that’s why AESD’s ELO-P program is ALWAYS ENROLLING TK-6th.
Priority enrollment is given to McKinney Vento (Homeless), families qualifying for free and reduced lunch and foster youth.
To enroll your child during the academic school year visit your child’s front office and ask for the “Anaheim Elementary Succeeds Leadership Assistant”.
Anaheim Elementary Online Academy students are welcome to attend any of the 23 ELOP programs.
