Welcome to Madison Elementary School

A Word From Our Principal

Principal - Tracey Golden

Dear Madison Families:

Welcome to James Madison School. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tracey Golden and I am very excited to be working with you and your children this year. I believe in education and I believe in kids. My life’s work has been here in public schools and I am dedicated to working with you to provide a safe, respectful, and rigorous learning environment for your child.

At Madison, we believe in a progressive, relevant, well-rounded education. We are a S.T.E.A.M. school where every child has music, next generation science instruction, computer coding and educational technology integrated with the common core standards for a leading edge learning experience.

Every staff member at Madison is here to support your child and we encourage you to be part of our school community. Our Family and Community Engagement Specialist would be happy to talk to you about what is going on at our school. Additionally, your child’s teacher is a partner with you regarding your child’s education and they are happy to meet and discuss any questions or concerns.

I would love to get to know you as well so please feel free to come by, email, call, or come up to me when you see me around the campus. I’m here to help and I look forward to our work together. Let’s make this a successful year for all our Madison students.

Sincerely,
Tracey Golden

2018 Speak Up Survey

Be a part of the conversation! We will be participating in the Speak Up Research Project. Speak Up is the first survey designed to help parents share their ideas directly with schools and national policymakers and will also provide Anaheim Elementary School District the opportunity to learn about the unique digital learning aspirations of our teachers, students and parents. As key stakeholders, Speak Up provides parents with a mechanism for expressing their views to the administrators at their child’s school and district about key issues impacting their child’s education.
