Here you’ll learn where and how you can make changes to items on the Home Page of your site including:

  1. Image Sliders
  2. School Site Navigation Menu
  3. The “A Word From Our Principal” section

Image Slider

To add/remove images from the large image slider on the home page follow these steps.

  1. From the Admin Dashboard click “Meta Slider Pro”
  2. From the “Available Sliders” at the top make sure the “Home Slider” is selected. NOTE: Yours may be called something different and you may only have 1 slider currently listed.
  3. To Add Images
    1. Click “Add Slide”
    2. Select an image from your computer IMPORTANT: Images for the homepage slider should be EXACTLY 1500 x 400
    3. Click Save
  4. To Remove Images
    1. Hover over the image thumbnail and click the red Trashcan icon
    2. Click Save
  5. School News Section

A Word From Our Principal

To edit the “A Word From Our Principal” message on the home page follow these steps:

  1. In the left menu click “Page”
  2. Find and click on the page lable “Front Page”
  3. Edit the text and “Update” when finnished
  4. Check your website home page to check the results. NOTE: If anything doesn’t look right after saving your changes contact the district web developer.

School Site Navigation Menu

As a site editor you do not have access to add items to navigation menus. If you’d like something added to your schools navigation area please contact the disctrict web developer.

School News Section

To add news stories to the home page simply add a new post. To do this follow the steps on the Adding News Posts section.
