Our students thrive in a 21st Century Learning environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to nurture community spirit, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

As a proud COMMUNITY SCHOOL, we are committed to challenging students to take risks that enhance their self-confidence and abilities, empowering them to become proactive leaders within the community. We are guided by the four pillars of a community school: integrating student supports, expanding and enriching opportunities, engaging families, and collaborating with community partners in our planning processes.

At Sunkist, we are devoted to providing a safe and supportive learning environment that champions student achievement and the belief that all students can learn. Through daily Social Emotional Learning activities, we emphasize student self-awareness and recognize each student as a unique and valued individual. Our goal is for every student to develop problem-solving skills, reason effectively, and produce quality work that meets high standards.

The Sunkist community operates as a cohesive unit, with site administration, school staff, and families working in tandem to support students’ social well-being and academic growth. All students have access to self-selected enrichment opportunities that deepen their ties to the surrounding community. By encouraging students to take risks and embrace challenges, we help them build the self-confidence and skills necessary to become productive leaders.
