Dedicated to providing information, resources, and effective interventions to support the success of ALL students.

The Anaheim Elementary School District is committed to providing a free, appropriate public education for all students in the least restrictive environment. Placement and services for students with disabilities are assigned in accordance with a student’s unique needs. A continuum of program options is available, such as speech and language therapy, specialized academic instruction (resource specialist program or special day class), occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling.

All students are insured of access to the general education curriculum and participation in the general education environment, as appropriate and as determined by a student’s IEP team.

Please review the Notice to Parents/Guardian/Surrogate Notice of Procedural Safeguards if your child has been referred for possible placement in special education. This notice explains your rights as a parent or guardian of a child with disabilities under federal and state law.
