Students in the Medical Careers Academy this pathway can earn:

  • CPR certification
  • State certification for Nursing Assistants
  • State Certification for Medical Assistants
  • Opportunity to compete in local and state skills competitions
  • Enrollment in an academy with integrated core academic classes
  • Completion of the course allows the potential to bridge into the ROP LVN program as well as early enrollment in Cypress college nursing program classes.

Dale Junior High School

Career PathwayCybersecurity 
High Schools with Cybersecurity pathwayMagnolia High School

Students in the Cybersecurity pathway receive ongoing industry exposure throughout the pathway. 

Designed for highly motivated students who wish to pursue a career in Cybersecurity/Computer Science. The Cybersecurity partnership with Cypress College is a key part of this experience.  CS3  Grant (1.5 million dollars over 5 years) through Cypress College to assist students in completion of a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity in 3 years after graduating high school.

Students who complete the Cybersecurity Program and earn additional certifications are ready to begin an entry-level position immediately, get an admissions advantage to CSUF, or be guaranteed admission to UCI through the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program.

Learn real world life skills that YOU WILL USE concerning relationships, family, employment, politics,  finances, crimes, defenses, self-empowerment, Constitutional rights, human rights, adult legal responsibilities, and MUCH MORE. 

Acquire job skills that will propel you onto a successful career path.  Legal employment is an intriguing, secure, and financially beneficial career choice.  It is not only incredibly interesting, but it is a chance to help those around you.

  • Determine how to become involved in your world and how to fight for justice and fairness.
  • Become an  advocate for what you believe in.
  • Examine what rights you have and how you can utilize them when needed.
  • Discover your Constitutional rights AND your human rights.
  • Explore the human mind and find out what makes good people do bad things.
  • Using real cases, real crimes, and real punishments, we will explore the legal system and its consequences.
  • Have the opportunity to intern in a law firm and get professional employment skills to enhance your resume and college applications.

Students will complete a professional career portfolio that includes an application, resume, cover letter, follow-up letter, letters of recommendation, answers to most common interview questions, and any official legal work product the student completed in class as work samples.  This will not only prepare the students for the workforce, but it will give them a competitive edge to advance.
