Making images accessible for people on Twitter
When you Tweet photos using the Twitter app for iOS or Android, or on twitter.com, you have the option to compose a description of the images so the content is accessible to people who are visually impaired.
How to enable the composition of image descriptions from twitter.com
- Click on your profile icon and select Settings and privacy from the dropdown (or press the “g” key quickly, followed by the “s” key).
- Click Accessibility from the list of settings.
- Find the Compose image descriptions checkbox.
- Check the box to turn the setting on or off.
- Click Save changes.
