A Word From Our Principal

On behalf of the entire Revere staff, I would like to welcome you to Paul Revere Elementary School! My name is Wendy Sales and I am filled with excitement for the 2023-24 school year! This begins my sixth year here at Revere and my 30th year as an educator in the Anaheim Elementary School District. I am looking forward to serving our students, families, and community as we implement this year’s theme: “In a world where you can be anything – Be Kind!!”

Our primary focus at Revere School will be to ensure a safe and engaging environment while we address the academic, emotional, and physical well-being of our students with families at the center of all that we do. It is our goal that your child feels connected and valued as a contributing member of our school community.

At Revere it is our privilege to provide your children with engaging and equitable learning opportunities that will prepare them to be real-world problem solvers and critical thinkers. The mission of Paul Revere Elementary School is to develop the whole child by providing a caring and inclusive environment for all children with a focus on acquisition of key academic & social emotional skills ensuring every student reaches their fullest potential. We offer a curriculum that includes a STEAM educational focus incorporating science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Our award-winning music program provides general and instrumental music instruction on a weekly basis. We are pleased to also offer a dual immersion Spanish program that currently extends from transitional kindergarten to fourth grade.

Revere School is a community school–committed to providing an opportunity for connection, relationship building, and empowerment to students, families and staff by providing support and resources based on the needs of our community. As a community school, we provide opportunities for learning and success for students. We include families, community members, students, school staff, and partner organizations in the collective effort required to support the whole child. Join us in a transformational vision to support the whole student for educational excellence!

Warm Regards,
Wendy Sales

School & District Parent & Family Engagement Policies 2022-2023

Research indicates that Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) help children achieve high academic standards. When schools work together with parents in school activities, and both schools and families engage in shared decision making regarding children’s education, students are more likely to acquire literacy at faster rates.

The links below contain the AESD and Parent & Family Engagement Policies. The policies are jointly developed with parents to establish objectives for meaningful parent and family involvement. (20 U.S.C. sections 6312, 6318[a][2])
