Independent Study may be requested for each absence with a maximum of 15 days per school year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">If your child has been absent this school year you may request an Independent Study agreement by doing the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Read and complete the information and agreement below to request an Independent Study work packet. Assignments must be completed by the student and returned to the teacher within the trimester the Independent Study is offered. Students who do not complete 70% of their daily assignments for each day may be marked absent.<\/li>\n                        <li>Students with an active Individualized Educational Plan (IEP): The IEP team must be notified that Short Term Independent Study has been requested for this student and will not include their Special Education services.<\/li>\n                        <li>This work may not
