We recognize that healthy school environments help support student learning and behavior. &nbsp;For this reason, our mission is to improve the health of the school community by establishing and maintaining life-long healthy habits.&nbsp;Our wellness policy guides how our schools make the healthy choice the easy choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list list-unstyled\">\n<li><p class=\"py-2\"><a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1dqqnSlZMR5rE90f7V16euovXniJl5_RU\/view\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wellness in Action Brochure (Eng\/Sp)<\/a> <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p class=\"py-2\"><a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B95a2bm6rytwYjNTbUtJa3kwQ00\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Wellness&nbsp;Policy<\/a><\/p> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coordinated School Health Council (CSHC)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">The Coordinated School Health Council is a committee of school administrators, community liaisons, teachers, school health professionals, food service employees, and community partners, which participate in the development, implementation, periodic review and update of the district\u2019s student wellness policy.&nbsp;The duties of the Council also include the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities that promote health within the school or community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list list-unstyled\">\n<li><a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B95a2bm6rytwSnlBVDMtT1FNUnM\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSHC Members<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wellness Policy Assessment&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">The Anaheim Elementary School District assesses its Wellness Policy at least once every three years to ensure our schools are complying with the strategies.
