Every night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. They have no homes and lack the most basic needs, even clothing. This October, “Kid President” and other kids from around the nation, like US, want to prove that even the smallest acts of love, like donating a pair of socks, could make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. We’re calling our project “SOCKTOBER,” because for the rest of this month, we are going to try and collect as many pairs of new socks as possible, which we will donate to our local homeless shelters. Will YOU help us? Let’s show the world that the students of Price Elementary care. We might be kids… but WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

YOU can help! Simply send in a pair or a package of NEW socks! We care collecting socks for babies, kids and adults. Students can drop off their socks in their classrooms. You can bring in your sock donations beginning Monday, October 2nd until Friday, October 27th.

Please contact Mrs. Austin at aaustin@anaheimelementary.org with any questions. Thank you for your support!
