Madison Elementary School
A Word From Our Principal
Dear Madison Families:
Welcome to James Madison School. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Janet De La Concha Pablo and I am very excited to be working with you and your children this year.
At Madison, we believe in a progressive, relevant, well-rounded education. We are a S.T.E.A.M. school where every child has music, next generation science instruction, computer coding and educational technology integrated with the common core standards for a leading edge learning experience.
Every staff member at Madison is here to support your child and we encourage you to be part of our school community. Our Family and Community Engagement Specialist would be happy to talk to you about what is going on at our school. Additionally, your child’s teacher is a partner with you regarding your child’s education and they are happy to meet and discuss any questions or concerns.
I would love to get to know you as well so please feel free to come by, email, call, or come up to me when you see me around the campus. I’m here to help and I look forward to our work together. Let’s make this a successful year for all our Madison students.
Sincerely,
School Site Council Meetings

School & District Parent & Family Engagement Policies 2022-2023
Research indicates that Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) help children achieve high academic standards. When schools work together with parents in school activities, and both schools and families engage in shared decision making regarding children’s education, students are more likely to acquire literacy at faster rates.
The links below contain the AESD and Parent & Family Engagement Policies. The policies are jointly developed with parents to establish objectives for meaningful parent and family involvement. (20 U.S.C. sections 6312, 6318[a][2])
