Hello Gauer Families
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the BTSN event, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and became familiar with the expectations in every grade level and room. August was a focus on Safety. Students practiced daily routines, safety drills, and procedures around the campus. It’s been a great month with many successes and we look forward to September being a great success too! We will continue to focus on Safety and work on fine-tuning routines and safety procedures. A few things to remember this month:
Minimum Day Exit Time 12:19 pm Sept. 18
We encourage daily attendance – if your child is out, please call the office to report an absence.
Instructional Focus Around Campus
Schoolwide Instructional Focus for the Month
We are starting off the year with routines and procedures in classrooms and outside during recess times.
Our goal is to provide Small Group Instruction.
Small group instruction is beneficial in that it:
- helps monitor academic progress
- meets the needs of students at their level in decoding, fluency, and comprehension, and math support
Programs we will continue to use:
- STAR Reading & Math
- ST Math
These tools help us monitor progress and guide instruction.
