Join us at AESD’s district-wide Play.Code.Compete. event which will take place on Saturday, May 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Ross Elementary School. This family-friendly event is sure to impress you as we showcase AESD students’ incredible skills in coding, engineering, and competitive gaming. There will also be a tournament that serves as the culmination of the first-ever elementary school district eSports curriculum and league in the county.

Event Schedule
Scratch-a-Thon
8am-12pm
Students will create an original Scratch project from a prompt using the engineering design model.
Codologie & Buildologie
12:30pm – 2:00pm
Buildologie students will compete against each other to see who can complete the most water-themed missions, while Codologie students compete to see who used programming to make the best interactive Ancient Civilization diorama.
eSports Tournament
2:30pm – 5pm
Each school will face off in a double elimination Rocket League tournament to be named Grand Champions.
