{"id":13841,"date":"2022-01-20T09:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T17:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/educational-services\/?page_id=13841"},"modified":"2026-07-07T12:15:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T19:15:48","slug":"charter-school-material-revision-package","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/educational-services\/charter-school-material-revision-package\/","title":{"rendered":"Charter Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group border-l-4 my-4 p-px border-blue-900 bg-blue-100 text-blue-900 py-3 px-4 above-title\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em style=\"font-weight: bold\">7-7-26 Staff Recommendations and Findings Report for Rocketship<\/em><strong><em> Anaheim Charter School<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to Education Code Section 47605(b), the Anaheim Elementary School District hereby publishes \u201c<a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1SC3ejW5IUW5uKVwDgMU4_N3jNABpvyty\/view?usp=sharing\">all staff recommendations, including the recommended findings<\/a>\u201d regarding the request for approval of the charter for the proposed Rocketship Anaheim Charter School: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff recommendations, including the recommended findings\u201d regarding the request for approval of the charter for the proposed Rocketship Anaheim Charter School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Charter School Material Revision Guidelines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A complete Charter School Material Revision Package consists of ten (10) binders and five (5) flash drives containing the following items with folders\/tabs separating each section:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"my-4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A.<\/strong>   Signed <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/educational-services\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/2022\/01\/AESD-Charter-Petitioner-Certification-Material-Revision.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Charter School Petitioner Certification form<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"my-4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>B. <\/strong>  Letter requesting Material Revision<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A letter addressed to the Anaheim Elementary Board of Education requesting material revision(s) to the charter. The letter shall describe the request (include specific details such as changes in grade levels, total enrollment, specific address of new facility, effective date, financial impact, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"my-4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>C. <\/strong>  Verification of Charter School Board action evidencing i.e. that the charter school governing board has approved the submission of the material revision and supporting documentation, such as meeting minutes or resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"my-4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D. <\/strong>  Supplemental Information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Documents supporting the material revision, such as revised Bylaws or Articles of Incorporation, school performance data, wait-list information or other data that support the proposed revision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"my-4 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>E. <\/strong>  Revised Charter Petition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An updated \u201credlined\u201d charter petition with changes to reflect the material revision including reasonably comprehensive descriptions of any new requirements of charter schools enacted into law after the charter was originally granted or last renewed.
