This report card draft communicates importance on <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0Bx_rZqRXN64mVklFRWVUV2VOams\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Physical Education standards<\/a>, by assigning both effort and progress indicators for physical activity (what kids do) and <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/acsd.k12.ca.us\/pep-grant\/character-posters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Five Components of Fitness<\/a> (what kids know).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_physicalEducation.jpg\" alt=\"Physical Education\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">Mathematics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">Specific C<a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/be\/st\/ss\/documents\/ccssmathstandardaug2013.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ommon Core Mathematics standards<\/a> that go into each domain can be accessed <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/be\/st\/ss\/documents\/ccssmathstandardaug2013.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>. A <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0Bz_9iQWr7F1zZ2twX3JyODk2R1U\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">digital progression guide<\/a> shows what this looks at each grade level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_technology.jpg\" alt=\"Technology\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">21st Century Learning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">The <strong>4 C\u2019s<\/strong> are critical skills to prepare our students for the future workforce and receive effort grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Communication<\/strong> - Sharing thoughts, questions, ideas, and solutions<\/li><li><strong>Collaboration<\/strong> - Working together to reach a goal \u2013 putting talent, expertise and smarts to work.<\/li><li><strong>Critical Thinking<\/strong> \u2013 Looking at problems in a new way, linking learning across subjects &amp; disciplines<\/li><li><strong>Creativity<\/strong> \u2013 Trying new approaches to get things done equals innovation &amp; invention<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_21stCenturySkills.jpg\" alt=\"21st Century Skills\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">ELD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">ELD section has been changed from reporting Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing to report progress in the designated ELD program, SRA Language for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_ELD.jpg\" alt=\"ELD\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">Visual and Performing Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">Student performance on <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0Bx_rZqRXN64mLXdtcUZ4VXVjdjg\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VAPA standards<\/a> is communicated through effort indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_VAPA.jpg\" alt=\"VAPA\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">Science and Social studies sections are intended to report progress on skills, processes, and facts based on <a class=\"font-semibold text-blue-900 underline hover:text-gray-500\"  href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0Bx_rZqRXN64mbHZiUUI4eHpndm8\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Science<\/a> and Social Studies content standards distinct from Language Arts integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/anaheimelementary.org\/program-evaluations\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2017\/06\/rc_overview_science.jpg\" alt=\"Science\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"mt-4 wp-block-heading\">Social-Emotional Learning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"py-2\">The Social-Emotional Learning has been redesigned to encompass facets from the previous \u201cResponsibility for Learning\u201d and \u201cResponsibility for Behavior\u201d sections while aligning to the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports initiative.
